Kuba cushions are made from traditionally woven long strips of raffia that are used in rituals and ceremonies in the Democratic Republic of Congo
Each piece is about 5m long and is traditionally used as a dance skirt for both men and women.As all cloths are individually hand woven, no two are the same-each one is a unique work of art!
In this cushion there is a wonderful blend of the suede with the old traditional woven raffia-the raffia being in the FRONT and the brown, black or creme suede on the back of the cushion
