Kuba cushions are made from traditionally woven long strips of raffia that are used in rituals and ceremonies in the Democratic republic of Congo
Each piece is about 5m long and is traditionally used as a dance skirt for both men and women. As all cloths are individually hand woven, no two are the same-each one is a unique work of art!
In this cushion there is a wonderful blend of the brown suede with the old traditional woven raffia-the raffia being in the centre and the brown suede on the side panels and the back of the cushion
This contemporary cushion comes in our stock standard size of 30×70cm
We can also make up cushions using a choice of cream or black suede
