Contemporary Shoowa Range Top Lip Shoowa Red, Cream and Brown 50x50cm
This highly prized pile woven piece is produced by the Bakuba people of the Democratic Republic Of Congo.
It is pile cut and is different in look and texture from the flat woven Kuba cloth
This is a blend of Kuba shoowa cloth,and suede backing with
a thick suede panel of about 10cm running across 1 side only giving it a contemporary feel.
This cushion closes with a zip. All kuba pieces will vary as all are individually made as part of an age old tribal tradition.
Choice of suede in our standard stock range is from black,brown and cream
The cushion is finished off with piping around the edges.
